While no one enjoys losing their natural teeth, you can still eat and talk normally if you have dentures.

After your physician determines that dentures are the appropriate treatment for you, your mouth will be examined to determine which teeth will have to be removed. The loose teeth are then extracted. Dentures are fitted to go over or around whatever teeth remain in the mouth.

There is an adjustment period after dentures are placed in the mouth, and they can take some getting used to.  But once you become accustomed to dentures, you’ll be able to carry on life as you normally would.  Your dentures will have all the functionality and appearance of real teeth.
